- Track usage history, including what each piece of equipment has been used for.
- Maintain records of certification status (e.g., safety, compliance).
- Log cleaning history and determine when cleaning is required based on the product carried and the equipment's next use.
- Coordination and Allocation

- Allocate tank container equipment for new bookings within a designated region
- Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring availability and cost-effective usage
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements using internal systems
- Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods legislation and support internal audits
- Collaborate with transport, commercial, and customer service teams
- Liaise with customers and partners to maintain service levels
- Analyse planning data to identify trends and propose improvements
- Contribute to the development of SOPs and scalable planning processes
- You will ensure that the equipment is either:
- Allocated to a local team that requires it for an upcoming job.
- Relocated to another region where there is a forecasted or current demand.
- Interface with External Partners
- You will work with: shipping lines (sea freight).
- Train lines (rail freight)
- Cleaning stations (sanitisation and prep for reuse)
- Ensure equipment movements align with transportation availability and schedule.
- Technical and Regulatory Considerations
- Apply technical knowledge of products and materials to:
- Avoid cross-contamination when switching product types.
- Match the capabilities of the equipment (e.g., pressure ratings)
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in logistics, transport planning, or supply chain operations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, structured, and solutions-focused approach
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Strong planning, organisational, and administrative abilities
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Training and development opportunities are provided. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow within a reputable and forward-thinking logistics organisation.
