Physics Teacher (permanent position)

Are you passionate about shaping the minds of the next generation of scientists and innovators? Hays is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physics Teacher on behalf of a thriving school to join their Physics department on a permanent basis. We are looking for an individual who can inspire students with the wonders of physics and guide them through the complexities of the subject.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive physics lessons to students
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
  • Prepare lesson plans and curricular materials aligned with national standards.
  • Evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
  • Provide individual support and mentorship to students as needed.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in Physics or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Proven experience of teaching physics at the secondary level.
  • Strong understanding of the current curriculum in physics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
