Your new school
Gretton School is an independent specialist school for children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions. We welcome students from 5—19 years old, as weekly boarders or as day students. Based just outside Cambridge, we work with 12 counties to provide a broad and individualised education for these unique and wonderful students. The school is growing and developing, its integrated therapeutic team are working tirelessly alongside the management team and the teaching and support staff to further develop our fantastic practice and outcomes. Your new role
Are you passionate about supporting learners through key educational transitions? Gretton School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Phase Transfer Lead to oversee the smooth progression of students from Year 6 to Year 7.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of Years 6 and 7.
- Line manage class teams and form tutors, supporting high-quality teaching and learning.
- Deliver a reduced teaching timetable, including core subjects.
- Provide pastoral care and liaise with families.
- Monitor and support learner progress, attendance, and behaviour.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Head to ensure a seamless transition into secondary education.
