About the Role:
A leading investment management firm is seeking a detail-oriented Performance and Attribution Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for calculating and reviewing performance returns for funds, client portfolios, and benchmarks. The successful candidate will also lead projects to update performance calculation tools and implement performance attribution systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Performance Calculation: Calculate and review performance returns for funds, client portfolios, and benchmarks.
- Project Management: Own projects from a client reporting perspective, including updating performance calculation tools and implementing performance attribution systems.
- Vendor Management: Work with vendors to ensure requirements are met and support the onboarding and rollout of additional services.
- Data Analysis: Calculate stock and sector-level attribution, investigate and resolve performance and data queries, and provide peer group analysis.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reporting data and reports.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in the oversight of outsourced measurement of investment performance and contribute to maintaining performance reporting training materials and procedures.

- Knowledge: Strong understanding of asset management, attribution calculations, and performance measurement methodologies.
- Skills: Numerate and accurate with excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving acumen, advanced MS Excel skills, and knowledge of accounting and valuation principles.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience in calculating client portfolio, fund, and benchmark performance.
- Experience working in a performance measurement team within an asset manager or third-party provider.
- Exposure to equity, fixed, and multi-asset funds/securities.
- Experience with market data vendor systems such as FactSet, Bloomberg, or Morningstar.
- Use of third-party performance software such as FactSet, Lipper, MSCI BarraOne, or StatPro.
- IMC or CIPM preferable.
