Payroll Specialist, Temporary role, possibly temp to perm, Telford

Hays is proud to be working exclusively with a growing business in Telford, seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist for a temporary assignment.


Your new role

You will have full responsibility for payroll operations across various divisions within the business, covering weekly, four-weekly, and salaried employees.
Additionally, you will oversee pensions, onboarding new starters, processing leavers, and other payroll-related tasks. Ideally, you will identify opportunities to enhance system efficiency and streamline processes.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need solid experience in payroll and pensions, with the ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail is essential, along with the confidence to identify and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.
