Your new school:
This TA6 Primary School is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with their Year 1 class, after half-term, on a long-term basis. This Bridgewater Primary school needs some extra assistance every morning, with this morning’s only role. This school relies on its staff being good role models for the young minds whose day you will be a vital part of. This TA6 school is located along a public bus route and has a car park on site.
Your new role:
This role will consist of helping with the children’s learning as they progress in Year 1. In this class, you will need to be patient and caring towards these children; empathy will be at the forefront of your work, as these children are learning new things every day. This Teaching Assistant role will consist of half days in the mornings and being with the children up until lunch too. This role requires flexibility and a firm but caring character.
Requirements to succeed in your new role:
- Previous experience working with children
- Two working references from your most recent jobs that apply relevance to the position
- Previous experience with KS1 is desirable
- A DBS on the update service. This can be done by us here at Hays.
