Painter Required At HMP Onley

Your new company
Amey are looking to add a painter to join their maintenance team to meet growing demand in work completion and delivery.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the supervision of prisoners whilst they paint the prison. You will also be required to help out the prisoners and join them in painting the prison, in areas such as: Staff rooms, Kitchens, Visitors receptions and interior and exterior walls. All tools, paint and equipment will be supplied by site.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be able to demonstrate the following Qualifications and Experience:
* Must hold a City & Guilds, National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 3 in Painting and decorating or an equivalent qualification
* Substantiated experience in similar role can be considered as alternative to formal qualification

What you'll get in return
You will be paid weekly, at a rate of £15.50. You will receive all relevant training as well as health and safety inductions. You will be working a Monday to Friday shift pattern, 39 hours per week, with opportunity for overtime. The regular working hours are 08:00 - 17:00 with breaks unpaid. These hours may differ slightly to meet site requirements.

Documentation Required
Security Clearance by the prison (Hays will organise this for you)
You must hold a valid passport or Birth Certificate & Photo Driving Licence in your current address.
Proof of National Insurance
Proof of address dated in the past 3 months.
All applicants must be able to provide details of at least 3 years satisfactory references.
Due to the location of the prison establishment, your own transport is essential.
