Requirement for an Operations Manager in Cookstown

Your new company

Your new company is a professional and dynamic business that has grown to become one of the UK and Ireland's leading companies in their field. With over 35 years of experience, their passion remains the same: delivering quality services to their customers. They take pride in their work, customers, and company, looking for people who share their values of positivity, responsibility, integrity, determination, and energy.

Your new role

As an Operations Manager, you will lead the workshop, stores, and installation activities to drive efficiency and success. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing workshop and stores operations, coordinating and scheduling, managing projects from order to installation and handover, and maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards across all operations. You will also manage the onboarding and training of new staff, including probation processes, ensuring a smooth and effective integration into the team.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years' experience in production management or scheduling, strong decision-making, leadership, and organisational skills, and the ability to problem-solve, manage time effectively, and drive continuous improvement. A full, clean driving licence is required. Preference may be given to candidates with joinery or construction experience. You should be a natural communicator and influencer, with a keen understanding of the importance of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

What you'll get in return

The company offers a negotiable salary depending on experience, along with a supportive work environment where you can make a significant impact and contribute to the long-term success of the organisation. You will work Monday to Thursday from 7:30am to 5pm, and Friday from 7:30am to 4pm.
