A leading FM service provider are hiring a Mobile Fabric Technician for a new contract in London.
Your new company
Our client are a large, leading FM service provider who operate across the UK and globally. Due to a new contract win, they are hiring a Mobile Fabric Technician for their delivery team. Their end client are a large public sector organisation with a significant portfolio of commercial and residential properties. You will be working on a van mobile basis, with company van provided, and working hours are Monday - Friday 8 - 5.
Your new role
As a Mobile Fabric Maintenance Engineer you will work on a van mobile basis and carry out reactive and planned fabric repairs in a range of commercial properties for a large public sector portfolio. Key duties will include:
- Day-to-day delivery of maintenance works to a variety of commercial properties.
- Fabric maintenance including carpentry, joinery, basic plumbing, basic electrical, painting, decorating and other tasks
- Carry out basic lamping duties as required.
- Reactive and fabric PPM maintenance.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will require relevant experience in working as a Fabric Maintenance Technician within a commercial property environment. You will also require:
- Relevant trade qualification or appropriate experience and technical ability (carpentry, wet trades etc.)
- If no quals working toward, or willing to work toward, obtaining a relevant qualification.
- Full UK driving license.
- Relevant experience in the above tasks.
