Hays Healthcare is currently recruiting for a band 6 Mental Health Practitioner in Preston.

Your New Role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our client’s dynamic Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) at Preston East CMHT. This role involves managing a caseload of patients and may require participation in the Duty Practitioner role, including the assessment of patients new to Mental Health Services.

Location: Preston East CMHT, West Strand House
Start Date: ASAP
Contract End Date: 31/07/2025
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Key Responsibilities
Carry a designated caseload of patients, providing high-quality mental health care.
Participate in the Duty Practitioner role as required, ensuring timely assessments.
Collaborate effectively with MDT members to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Conduct assessments for individuals new to Mental Health Services.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with organisational policies.

What You'll Need
  • A valid NMC registration is essential.
  • Qualified Mental Health Practitioner with relevant experience.
  • Strong assessment and clinical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the UK (no sponsorships)
