Mechanical Contract Manager

HAYS are recruiting on behalf of a well-established M&E Contractor delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical, and renewable services across the South of England. Their clientele includes Main Contractors as well as public and private sector clients in the commercial, industrial, and large-scale domestic markets. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage mechanical contracts from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Coordinate with the project team to develop and implement project plans.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management.
  • Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven experience managing mechanical contracts within the M&E building services sector.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and renewable services.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
