Market Risk Business Analyst - Japanese Bank - £700-£750pd via Umbrella

A leading global Japanese investment bank is currently seeking an experienced Market Risk Business Analyst to join their London-based office within their Global Risk Systems team. The client is currently working on major risk systems development and requires support with the delivery and oversight of key initiatives across the global business, focusing on market risk reporting.

Job Details:
Start date – ASAP
Duration – until the end of March 2026
Rate – £700-£750pd Inside via Umbrella
Location – London
Hybrid Working

Key requirements:

  • Experience working as a Business Analyst within the financial services industry is a must.

  • Full lifecycle experience on large, complex business and/or IT change programmes.

  • In-depth understanding of key market risk measures, e.g. Greeks/sensitivities, VaR, ES.

  • Familiarity with a wide range of asset classes (e.g. fixed income, equities, derivatives).

  • Experience working on FRTB implementation projects.

  • Exposure to ActivePivot, MongoDB, MDX, Python and SQL is a plus.
