About the Role:
An esteemed institution is seeking a Market Insights Manager to join its dynamic Marketing, Communications, and PR department. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned research professional with a passion for data analysis and an inquisitive nature. The successful candidate will spearhead the provision of market insights throughout the university, fostering evidence-based decision-making and supporting the strategic development of the institution’s profile.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Insight Leadership: Guide the university’s product insight, leveraging market and competitor analysis to refine the program portfolio and align student numbers planning with recruitment goals.
  • Brand Evolution Support: Regularly assess brand sentiment and the impact of promotional activities to enhance the university’s brand recognition.
  • Data Analysis and Sector Alignment: Explore sector data and market intelligence to pinpoint growth areas that resonate with the university’s strategic objectives.
  • Performance Analysis: Merge external market insights with internal data to evaluate subject performance, identifying strengths and opportunities within the academic offerings.
  • Research Schedule Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive research agenda, including primary research, to inform critical institutional operations.
  • Survey Analysis and Communication: Interpret pivotal survey results, such as the University’s Decliners Survey, to uncover actionable insights for strategic improvements.
  • Collaborative Research Tactics: Engage with stakeholders across the university to deliver robust research strategies that inform and guide decision-making processes.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in designing and implementing a cohesive suite of research activities. Experience in advising senior stakeholders on market insights and utilising sector data to influence top-tier decision-making is highly desirable. A collaborative spirit and the ability to communicate complex findings succinctly to diverse audiences are essential.
