This established, growing retail business in Preston is seeking a Management Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis, to report to the Finance Director, working in their large, modern offices (full-time onsite). They’re a stable business, which has seen steady growth since they were established many years ago, but still have a forward-thinking approach, and welcome innovative ideas to enable their continued success.

You’ll produce management accounts; balance sheet reconciliations; develop reporting tools for feedback on performance of the wider business unit; annual budget prep for all stores; plus, further responsibilities in line with the role of a Management Accountant. You’ll also have line management responsibility for a small accounts team.

You will be qualified (CIMA, ACCA), have experience in management accounts, and will have managed a team of Assistant / Trainee Accountants, including coaching and developing their skills. You should be confident in Excel, and comfortable communicating with colleagues across the business.
