This is an opportunity for a part-qualified or finalist ACCA/CIMA student to join a small but mighty finance team! The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the organisation's transactional finance team members, ensuring precision in financial reporting and adherence to accounting standards. They will also be responsible for providing succinct and commercial analysis and commentary to support the businesses' performance. This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth and advancement. Your responsibilities in this role will include the following;
- Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee and support the payables and receivables process
- Maintain accurate financial records using Sage accounting software
- Providing expertise at month and year-end closing
- Supporting in the budgeting and forecasting process
- Partnering with internal stakeholders and external entities to deliver key information within agreed timescales
- Assisting with weekly and monthly payroll processes using Sage Payroll
In order to be selected for interview, you must have significant experience in financial and management accounting in a commercial industry environment. Experience with Sage (and ideally experience with SAGE Payroll) will be highly beneficial. The undertaking of a recognised professional qualification (either ACCA or CIMA) and a robust understanding of the principles of transactional and management accounting are key to this role.
