Management Accountant Job, in Ayrshire

Hays clients are an innovative and transformational business with 40 years' experience internationally. Based in Ayrshire, our client has a significant presence in technology and research with a proactive and innovative approach to change. Our client is expanding their operations and now looking to increase the team with the appointment for a Management Accountant initially on a contract basis for a period of 6months.

The Management Accountant will be offered a daily rate between £200-£250 per day with this being an office-based role. There is potential for this role to go permanent for the right candidate or continue as a long-term contract. Our client have a fast-paced and commercial finance team offering variety and engagement with the business at all levels.

Your new role

Joining a high profile team, the Management Accountant will be responsible for delivering high-quality management production for multiple entities within the brand. The role will include balance sheet reconciliation, variance analysis, managing budgets and forecasts and business partnering with operations. Additionally, the Management accountant will support projects including ERP implementation and process improvement initiatives.

You will work with a team of Management Accountants and commercial finance individuals in this role. This is a fast-paced role where planning, analysis and highlighting performance across multiple business areas.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally, you will be a Qualified Accountant or have significant experience in Management Accounting. You will have strong ledger experience and ideally some exposure to SAP, though non-essential. Advanced Excel skills will be preferable.

What you'll get in return

You will be offered a minimum contract of 6 months with the potential for extension or permanent appointment.
