Our client are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to help support our operations in Cheltenham and Worcester.

Your new role

-Continually seek to increase the reliability and efficiency of the distribution processes.
-Develop & execute predictive & planned maintenance activities to maximise equipment uptimes.
-Develop/progress small improvement projects & support larger continuous improvement projects.
-Promptly attend to breakdowns, undertake fault finding techniques and implement robust solutions.
-Take ownership of the sites facilities & ensure required maintenance programs are met.
-Take ownership of all equipment spare part stocks including ordering replacements when required.
-Ensure all work activities are recorded through the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
-Support external contractors when visiting site to perform any servicing & support activities.
-Ensure 5S standards are met and maintained at the local level.
-Ensure all health and safety policies, regulations & statutory requirements are strictly adhered to.

What you'll need to succeed

-A positive attitude and a willingness to learn is essential.
-Proven experience in a maintenance environment.
-A recognised relevant engineering qualification (e.g. HNC, BTEC, City & Guilds or NVQ).
-Excellent communication skills, able to interact at all levels.
-Self-motivated, organised individual, attentive to detail and the ability to meet agreed objectives.
-Good all-round PC skills (SAP and CMMS would be an advantage although training will be provided).
-The role will run rotating working patterns of Monday to Friday 06:00-14:30, 1330-22:00 & 0730-1600 at both our Worcester and Cheltenham site and may require cover on night shifts and weekends.
