Job Title: Mechanical Plant Surveyor
Location: Midlands, UK
Job Type: Contract (3-6 months)
Salary: Circa £30 per hour (Inside IR35), DOE

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Mechanical Plant Surveyor to join our team on a 3-6-month contract. This role involves conducting stock condition surveys on mechanical plant equipment across various NHS sites, predominantly in the Coventry and Warwickshire areas, but also throughout the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct stock condition surveys on mechanical plant equipment.
  • Perform mechanical bias surveys.
  • Travel to multiple NHS sites across the Midlands, including Coventry and Warwickshire.
  • Complete paperwork and report writing from home or office locations in Nottingham or Birmingham.
  • Ensure all work is carried out under direct supervision and control.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in conducting stock condition surveys on mechanical plant equipment.
  • Mechanical bias survey experience.
  • Reliable and able to work independently.
  • Own vehicle and valid driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the Midlands.
Work Environment:
  • Predominantly field-based with some office days in Nottingham or Birmingham.
  • Flexibility to work from home for administrative tasks.
