They have a new opportunity for a Logistics Support Specialist to join a very successful business at their site in Paisley.

Your new role

The Logistics Support Specialist will be responsible for analysing and optimising logistics and execution functions within a site-based office environment. This role requires an analytical thinker who is proficient in data analysis, reporting, meeting specific self-and team KPIS and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will be committed to identifying overall stock losses from vessel arrival through to store deliveries to our customers, collaborating with team members, and enhancing supply chain efficiency. Investigate stock losses thoroughly, utilising analytical skills to diagnose issues and recommend actionable solutions. Work closely with mentors & managers across execution and some shipping functions, to foster a team-oriented environment to identify and enhance operational efficiency.


What you'll need to succeed

Strong analytical skills in logistics, reporting, business administration and some credit control. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with data analysis and reporting. Experience in reporting KPIs and preparing performance reports for continuous improvement. Proven ability to identify problems and devise effective solutions. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport and teamwork. Patience and perseverance in problem-solving, demonstrating a commitment to finding the source of issues. Analytical thinker with a passion for ‘source to solution’ targets. Detail-orientated and organised, able to manage multiple priorities. Team player with a collaborative spirit and a desire to contribute positively to the workplace culture. Motivated and proactive, willing to take initiative to improve processes and outcomes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of their supply chain.

What you'll get in return

They offer a competitive salary and company bonus plus 33 days annual leave. This is a Monday-Friday position, working from 0830-1730.
