Level 2 Teaching Assistant position in Wolverhampton, starting in May

Position: Level 2 Teaching Assistant

The school are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team, supporting children in lower Key Stage 2 (KS2). The successful candidate will play a vital role in the classroom and provide targeted English interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities and support children during lessons.
  • Lead small groups of children to enhance their reading, spelling, and creative writing skills.
  • Monitor and track the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers and adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Work closely with class teachers to ensure the provided work meets the needs of the students.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant qualifications and experience as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A passion for education and supporting children's development.
