Your new role
As a key member of the legal team, you will provide pragmatic legal advice on a range of commercial contracts matters, including data protection, data privacy and GDPR advice. You will work in a business-facing role and will be expected to manage your own workload, support with tender processes, work closely with the procurement team, keep up to date with horizon scanning and work on projects to update policies and procedures to ensure high standards across all business areas.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need a solid foundation in commercial contracts and delivering high quality work, either in private practice or in-house. Your strengths as a lawyer will include drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, advising the business on data protection matters and outsourced service provider contracts. You will need to be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships across the business. You will ideally have 2-4 years’ PQE and be available to work in the Manchester office on a hybrid basis.
What you'll get in return
You will be part of a supportive and growing team, with plenty of opportunities for professional development and mentoring. You will be offered a competitive salary of £60k-£70k in line with your experience, plus a benefits package and wellbeing initiatives. This role would suit an ambitious, capable, and hardworking commercial lawyer looking to make an impact with an international company and truly enhance your career.
