As a Lead Systems Administrator, you'll step into a pivotal position within the technology division. Your main focus will be leading the delivery and support of business-critical IT services, with a significant emphasis on infrastructure and security architecture. You'll be a go-to expert for complex problem resolution, working with both internal teams and external partners to maintain top-tier service level agreements. This role isn't just about maintenance; it's about proactively optimising systems, engaging with key business stakeholders to shape technology solutions, and driving the strategic development of our client's technical roadmaps.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Strong hands-on experience configuring and maintaining Microsoft Hyper-V, MS Windows Server 2016/2019 and above.
  • Experience managing container environments, specifically Kubernetes, in either cloud or on-premise settings.
  • A solid background in maintaining enterprise storage platforms and physical data centre environments.
  • Proficiency in cloud administration, including Office 365 Admin Centre and MS Exchange/Office 365 hybrid mail.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide long-term, proactive fixes.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to present complex information clearly.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Get in Return

  • Salary of £47,250.
  • An outstanding pension scheme with a significant employer contribution of 28.97%.
  • 26 days of annual leave, plus public holidays.
  • Flexible working options to support your work-life balance.
  • Access to modern, state-of-the-art offices with excellent on-site facilities, including a gym, restaurant, and nursery.
  • Opportunities for continuous professional development, including formal training.
  • A supportive and innovative work environment where your contributions are highly valued.
