A friendly and welcoming school in Thornbury is currently looking for a KS1 class teacher to join their team. Your new role

Starting ASAP, you will be working as a lower Key Stage 1, Year 1 teacher in a class of 30 pupils, working alongside an experienced team of other teachers and a teaching assistant. You will be in charge of covering a range of lessons, where you will be accountable for ensuring that you deliver the school curriculum effectively. You will be provided with PPA time during the week, where you will be expected to contribute to planning lesson content and assess pupil learning. This role is suitable for a class teacher of all levels, including ECTs, for those who are more experienced a competitive wage is an option.

What you'll need to succeed

• Have teaching experience within the last 5 years

• Be confident in all year groups

• Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status
  

• Work as part of a team effectively.

• Good Knowledge of the English National Curriculum
