Role Overview
We’re looking for a meticulous and proactive IT Asset Management (ITAM) Administrator to support the full lifecycle of our client's IT hardware and software assets. Reporting to the IT Asset Manager, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate asset records, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with external vendors. This position aligns with ITIL best practices and is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, detail-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Support & Service: Act as a point of contact for asset-related queries, resolving hardware and software incidents efficiently and professionally.
Lifecycle Management: Maintain and update systems that track the acquisition, deployment, usage, and retirement of IT assets.
Vendor Coordination: Work closely with third-party providers to ensure timely delivery, maintenance, and disposal of IT equipment in line with contractual obligations.
Compliance Oversight: Ensure all assets adhere to internal procurement policies and external licencing requirements.
Inventory Accuracy: Keep detailed records of all IT assets, including purchase history, licence details, and service agreements.
Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and execution of strategies that enhance asset utilisation and reduce risk.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and adherence to agreed processes.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in IT asset management or a related field.
Familiarity with ServiceNow and SNOW platforms.
Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and how they apply to asset management (ITIL Certification is a bonus)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience working with inventory tracking tools and managing vendor relationships.
