Senior IT Project Manager – Digital Transformation (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)

Are you an experienced IT Project Manager with a passion for delivering impactful digital transformation projects? A long-established UK business that’s undergoing a major is hiring a Senior IT Project Manager to cover maternity leave.

This is a great opportunity to lead high-profile IT initiatives that will shape the future of how the business operates and delivers value. As part of this journey, they’re seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-impact technology projects—most notably, a national rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract ideal for someone who thrives in structured yet evolving environments and has experience delivering enterprise-level IT change.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading the delivery of IT projects from discovery to deployment using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
Managing the regional rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM across the UK.
Coordinating go-lives and ensuring smooth transitions across business units.
Working with hybrid, cross-functional teams based in Sheffield and beyond.
Managing project plans, risks, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
Ensuring compliance with IT governance and security standards.
Supporting post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

3+ years of IT project management experience.
Proven track record in digital transformation and CRM implementations.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks.
Process mapping and change management experience.
