Your new company
I am working with a leading transport/ automotive company who is looking for someone to join a dynamic team to deliver upon the internal communications strategy! This company is committed to steering its internal communications with a particular focus on driving employee engagement across the firm.

Your new role
Have the opportunity to be autonomous and steer the communications team during a time of business change to drive engagement. The firm is looking for a warm and personable, yet driven, individual to join the team and uplift the company’s internal communications strategy. A creative individual capable of delivering well-written messages that have a consistent and engaging tone would be highly desirable. You will work in a small team and report to the Operations Director and the Executive Support Officer who leads external communications. The position is a 6-month fixed-term contract role with opportunity to grow into a permanent role. This company is looking for someone who is ready to enhance the company's reputation by engaging colleagues by generating positive feedback around milestones and other firm initiatives. You will have the opportunity to design, manage and lead the internal communications strategy as well as manage social media channels through storytelling.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will work to ensure topical issues are analysed and reported to the senior leadership team on a regular basis, as such experience communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels is important. To thrive in this role, you will need to have experience managing multiple projects, producing targeted content with an audience in mind, as well as have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You will have a meticulous eye for detail and be up for the challenge to work in a team as well as independently to fully design and embed an internal communications strategy. Experience working within the transportation industry, or critical national infrastructure, would be highly desirable but not required.
