Intermediate Analyst

Job Purpose:
As a Client Service Intermediate Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in addressing external client issues and ensuring ongoing client service support. You’ll collaborate with the Client Service team to provide solutions and support, making a difference to our global clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Client Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of high-profile global clients across ETD/OTC cleared products.
  • Trade Lifecycle Support: Handle trade lifecycle processes, including cash and collateral management, static data updates, and FX processing.
  • Timely Query Resolution: Acknowledge, investigate, and resolve client queries within expected timeframes, adhering to industry standards.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Provide in-depth analysis and root cause identification for client portfolios. Chair internal meetings to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Client Experience Optimisation: Collaborate with Sales and Relationship teams to understand client needs and enhance their overall experience.
  • Clear Communication: Keep clients informed about market events, delays, and technology issues through clear and concise updates.
  • Performance Review: Conduct monthly MIS reviews to optimise client flow through the system and analyse client performance.
  • Strategic Projects: Participate in documenting business requirements and testing new processes, systems rollouts, and UAT.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understanding product and regulatory environments impacts client portfolios. Adhere to group procedures and policies.
  • Thought Leadership: Drive cross-departmental initiatives and contribute as a thought leader.
  • Risk Assessment: Make informed business decisions, considering risk factors and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Substantial previous experience in a similar position.
  • Business/Financial Background: Relevant experience in a business or financial environment is preferred.
  • Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks and manage projects effectively.
  • Accountability: Proven self-reliance and accountability, with the ability to manage risk.
  • Effective Communication: Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong investigative and analytical skills.
  • Client Focus: Consistently deliver high-quality customer service, building strong client relationships.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
