Interim Supply Planner - FMCG/ Manufacturing
Your New Company
We are working with a very exciting company based here in London who are expanding their Supply Chain team. This company and their products are a household name and an iconic brand in the Retail/ FMCG market. They have regional Hubs all over the world and have immensely outpaced their market in 2023.
Your New Role
As the Interim Supply Planner, you will be responsible for defining approaches to best balance availability, costs and inventory holding. You will ensure that production plans and stock targets are in line with SKU targets and be responsible for taking action where necessary. In this position, you will act as a business partner at all stages within the planning process and cover all communications related to risk, impacts and interruptions of supply. You will find gaps relating to performance metrics and drive methods of action to address these. The Supply Planner will challenge planning processes and manage the supply of inventory for EMEA.
What You Need to Succeed
In order to succeed in the role, you will have proven experience within supply planning, supporting global or international supply chains. You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a strong team player. Knowledge of planning tools are key for this role and strong analytical skills in terms of data inputting and inventory planning and forecasting principles. You will need a key understanding of planning lead times and experience with prioritising strategies + alignment with APAC Region SIP Teams on interdependencies of inventory.
What You Get in Return
In return, you will have the chance to work on a 6-month contract initially, with potential for extension or a permanent position. Working through Hays initially, you will also be eligible for retail discounts, access to online L&D learning courses and holiday and pension contributions. This role is in-scope of IR35. Therefore, you can work through Hays payroll on PAYE basis or through an Umbrella company, whichever you prefer.
