We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim Finance Director to join a prominent organisation in Northern Ireland. This role is crucial for overseeing financial operations during a transitional period, ensuring the organisation's financial health and strategic direction.

Your new role

• Lead all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Provide strategic financial advice to senior management.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
• Mentor and lead the finance team to achieve organisational goals.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and control.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective leadership and communication abilities.
• Experience in the public sector or with development projects is a plus.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
