The legal team is looking to appoint an in-house commercial contracts solicitor to focus on commercial contracts advice, drafting and negotiating of supplier terms.

Your new role

You will work alongside the existing legal team to support the business on a range of legal matters including general contract management, drafting and negotiating supply agreements, providing strategic advice and making commercial decisions, dealing with international matters and managing the relationship with external lawyers where necessary. This role offers a unique proposition for career progression and growth and you will work closely with the business, up to exec level, advising on a range of legal matters and you will also mentor and supervise junior lawyers and trainee/paralegals in the team.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a solid foundation in commercial contracts with experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements. You will have completed your training with a well-regarded law firm or in-house legal department and have excellent relationship-building skills in order to work effectively across the business and influence decision-making at all levels. Any experience with outsourcing agreements would be an advantage. This would suit a commercial lawyer with 3-6 years' PQE who is results driven and enjoys working as part of a friendly and supportive team.
