Improving Attendance Manager - Temporary ongoing contract - Hybrid

Your new company

You will be joining an organisation based in Birmingham on a temporary on going basis. This role will involve 2 days a week in office that in based in the City Centre.

Your new role

To manage, co-ordinate and quality assure the support to schools as prescribed under ‘Working together to improve school attendance’, ensuring all children can access the full-time education to which they are entitled, with a strong focus on inclusion for vulnerable children including preventing exclusions.

To ensure the delivery of effective partnership working with all key internal and external stakeholders, building and maintaining a strong collaborative approach to the local authority support for school attendance

To provide supervision and line management responsibilities in relation to staff as allocated

To support the improvement of school attendance within the city and promote the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people


What you'll need to succeed

You will be required to have previous attendance management experience, and be available to visit the Birmingham office twice a week.
