HYBRID HRBP JOB IN DERBY

Your new company

A successful business in the heart of Derby City Centre is looking to recruit an additional HRBP due to increased workload.

Your new role

To provide comprehensive day-to-day generalist HR support to all group companies, including onboarding, performance management, disciplinary and grievances, worker complaints, employee benefits, best practice, employment law, policies and procedures and terms and conditions.

  • You will be responsible for c 120 employees and 900 contractors.
  • Advise managers and employees on employment law matters, the interpretation of terms and conditions and HR policies and procedures.
  • Advise staff of their family friendly rights and process accordingly.
  • Support managers with flexible working requests.
  • Support managers with recruitment, including liaising with external recruitment agencies and interviews.
  • Advise on and administer job descriptions offering support and practical assistance to managers to ensure they are compliant with current legislation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above

  • CIPD qualified (or qualified by experience).

  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and practices.

  • Ability to effectively manage meetings, investigations and group discussions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must possess good listening, mediation and counselling skills.

  • Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent)
