HR Change Manager role, on an 18-month FTC, for one of the largest specialist universities in London.

Your new company

You will be working for one of the leading, and largest, specialist universities in London, on an 18-month FTC as an HR Change Manager. The role will start ASAP, so please only apply if you are on 1-2 weeks' notice.

  • Duration: 18 months
  • Salary: £51,000 - £60,000 per annum (£62-66k for an exceptional candidate)
  • Annual leave: 30 days, plus 8 bank holidays and 4 days over Christmas
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
  • Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days from home

Your new role

The role will report to the Head of HR Transformation, within an organisation of 1,500, and sit within the HR Change team, consisting of 5 HR Change Managers, and 2 HR Change Officers. The wider HR team is 60+ in size.
  • You will be aligned to 3 directorates, supporting your Directors and Senior Leadership team, through change.
  • Leading on collective consultations, 121’s, union liaison, redeployment, possible redundancies or VR
  • Liaising with Unison, Unite and UCU
  • Supporting job design and job evaluation – partner with Kornferry Hay, and the Reward Manager

What you'll need to succeed

  • 1 week's notice or less
  • Strong experience of complex industrial and employee relations.
  • Ability to handle sensitive exit processes at a senior level and navigate difficult union discussions.
  • Candidates will ideally be from a heavily unionised, public sector organisation.
