Your new role

A niche business in the professional services sector with successful growth over its 10 years of starting up - with offices in Sheffield and London

You will be reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner. This individual is wanting to support your career and mentor you whilst you operate independently, with a degree of autonomy.

You will be part of a wider collaborative HR team, playing a key role in the support to Line Managers and staff. The purpose of this role is to provide a full generalist HR support and to ensure effective delivery of the HR services across the business, as the organisation continues to develop and grow.

The purpose of this role is to work closely with business leaders to understand their objectives, challenges, and workforce needs to ensure alignment with our HR strategies and initiatives to achieve the overall business goals and drive organisational success.

Function as a trusted partner and integral part of the team to provide expert HR guidance and advice to business leaders on various people-related matters such as talent management, organisational development, and employee engagement.

This role will also involve coaching line managers and leaders to build their people management skills to enable them to be self-sufficient.

Projects you will get involved in include Organisational Design / reorganisation; launch of a new performance management programme and HR system process improvements – all to ensure the business maintains a culture of continuous improvement.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor / Junior HR Business Partner to truly step into a Business Partner role, be exposed to a variety of senior leaders & projects and progress their career to develop further in the HR arena.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be minimum Level 5 CIPD qualified (or similar level experience level), with previous Business Partnering or Senior HR Advisory experience – in particular, strong ER/ Employment Law knowledge and involvement in a wider remit of projects such as OD, Performance Management and continuous improvements.
Independent thinker and worker – but with team and collaborative approach.
IT and reporting skills.
