Hays are supporting an innovative manufacturing organisation in their search for a seasoned HR Business Partner to support their employees and management operations. This is an interim HR Business Partner appointment.
Your new role
This is a critical role that requires a high-potential HRBP to work with the UK&I Head of HR, the Directors and line management of the different functions, by delivering a comprehensive and added value HRBP service for the Kirkcaldy site. You will work in partnership with the line management of the different Kirkcaldy Site functions (Operations, Services, Sales & Customer Services) to establish and deliver a comprehensive and added value HR service for the site as well as supporting centrally determined HR initiatives and projects.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in HR, employee relations, project and change management, as well as UK employment law. You will have excellent interpersonal communication skills, confidence, resilience, and the ability to lead in critical situations. A hands-on approach is essential, along with the ability to build trust and develop positive relationships at all levels within the organisation and with external contacts.
Proven influencing and stakeholder management skills are crucial, with the ability to understand business needs and deliver effective HR solutions. The candidate must balance straightforward communication on risks and costs with positive, diplomatic influencing to present the best options. Demonstrable experience working in partnership with trade unions is essential for this role. Proficiency in global HR systems such as Success Factors is desirable.
