HR Advisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Business Partner who is looking to move into an organisation and has the opportunity to be part of their 5-year people strategy plan and has the potential to move into the HR Manager role in the future.

This is a perfect role for an HR Professional who wants to be part of a not-for-profit charity, supporting them through a variety of HR activities and even being involved in the trial of a 4-day working week!

A hybrid role, reporting to the Head of HR located in North Tyneside, working 3 days on site and 2 days from home.

Responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing the HR Policies and Procedures
  • Pilot a 4-day working week
  • Involved in the implementation of a new payroll and HR system
  • Support and advise managers on ER case management from beginning to end on a range of HR matters including disciplinary, grievances, absence management and performance management
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment campaigns
  • Advise managers in the planning and implementation of organisational change processes and programmes
  • Support on implementing and developing succession plans across the organisation
  • Involved in job evaluation, benchmarking and pay grading
  • Develop a strong understanding of business operations
  • Act as a trusted advisor and internal consultant to managers, providing guidance on HR matters
  • Partner with managers to support talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, talent development and retention strategies
  • Coach and advise managers on performance management best practices
  • Identify training and development needs
  • Oversee and support the efficient and effective delivery of HR operational processes
  • Work with the Head of HR to track and measure performance against HR key performance indicators.

Experience required includes:
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Employment Law
  • Experience working in an HR function within an Advisory role previously
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified
  • Experience with HR & Payroll systems
