Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective geography lessons to students aged 11-18, fostering a love for the subject and encouraging critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student performance.
Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to undergo a new Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for geography.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
