Your new role

As Head of Customer Marketing you will spearhead strategic initiatives that not only enhance customer engagement but also drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement customer marketing strategies that directly contribute to sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives and maximise opportunities in the market.
  • Identify and prioritise key accounts for targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Manage a team of 9 sales development and field sales professionals
  • Work closely with key account managers to create customised marketing programs that strengthen relationships and drive sales within key customer segments.
  • Devise and execute impactful trade promotions to drive sell-through at retail partners.
  • Monitor promotion effectiveness, analyse ROI, and adjust strategies to maximise sales impact.
  • Foster strong partnerships with retailers and distributors to ensure seamless execution of marketing programs at the point of sale.
  • Implement joint marketing initiatives with channel partners to amplify brand visibility and drive sales.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to create compelling point-of-sale materials that enhance product visibility and drive conversion.
  • Provide guidance on retail merchandising strategies to optimise product placement and maximise sales potential.
  • Develop training materials and tools to equip the sales team with the knowledge and resources needed to effectively communicate product benefits and close sales.
  • Provide ongoing support to the sales force, addressing challenges and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage data analytics to track and measure the impact of marketing initiatives on sales performance.
  • Utilise insights to optimise strategies, improve customer targeting, and increase overall sales effectiveness

    What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience in customer marketing with a focus on driving sales, preferably in the FMCG industry
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams
  • Team management experience
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sales-driven environment.
