Your new role is to win and deliver projects valued from £2 to £6 million that can be traditional new-build modern houses, town centre flats and refurbishments of existing properties. You will be leading the client team, site management team and commercial team to ensure successful outcomes and delivering healthy yields on investments. Outwardly an entrepreneur to their clients and a professional leader to internal staff, your role would be to drive the commercial and construction departments together.

What you'll need to succeed is a UK qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction and have substantial experience in the UK as a company owner or director of an SME within the field of residential building contracting. You will have a stable work history, excellent communication skills, IT Literate and be proficient in delivering contracts with a track record of financial success. The successful candidate must demonstrate an elevated level of organisational skills, numeracy and an understanding of arithmetic, profit and loss and fiscal management of construction projects. You will have an ambition to grow a portfolio of opportunities in the local Sussex development market. You would have been operating at an important level with significant links with the local investment market, local architects, have links with planning authorities, building controls and in tune with the demands of the residential market.
