Our client is a leading accountancy practice in Maidenhead dedicated to delivering exceptional financial services to our diverse client base.
They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Reporting Manager/Senior to join their financial reporting team. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial statements for our clients.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the financial reporting team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work output.

  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards.

  • Coordinate with clients to gather necessary financial information and ensure all reporting requirements are met.

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

  • Provide technical accounting expertise and guidance to clients and team members as needed.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • ACA/ACCA qualification preferred.

  • Significant experience in financial reporting, preferably in a professional services or accountancy firm.

  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.

  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing a team.
