My client in the construction industry are seeking a Financial Accounts Manager.

My client in the construction industry are seeking a Financial Accounts Manager as they grow their internal function and look to reduce outsourcing. The successful candidate will take charge of the accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • General Ledger:
    Maintain and reconcile entries, manage accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting:
    Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements; liaise with auditors.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable:
    Oversee invoice processing, manage supplier relationships, and control customer accounts.
  • Tax Compliance:
    Assist with tax returns and stay updated on legislation.
  • Internal Controls:
    Implement and maintain controls, ensure policy compliance, and recommend improvements.
  • Budgeting/Forecasting:
    Help prepare budgets, monitor performance, and provide financial analysis.

Qualifications

  • Essential:
    An Accounting Qualification or Qualification by experience
  • Desirable:
    Experience in construction.

Duties

  • Build and maintain client relationships.
  • Analyse client data for growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with teams to meet client expectations.
  • Lead sales initiatives and manage client interactions using Salesforce.
  • Communicate updates and deliver presentations to clients.
