I am currently working with a SME management consultancy who are looking for a Finance Director as part of the executive board. They have a stable business model with a track record of investment in internal systems and improving efficiencies. This presents an exciting opportunity to utilise innovative systems to help drive automation and improve business information to support strategic decision-making.

Your new role

Reporting to the managing director, this is a broad and varied role with key duties and responsibilities including:

• Oversight and management of day to day finance operations
• Management of finance team of 2 reports
• Driving systems improvements and automation
• Provide insightful MI and data analysis to support decision-making
• Process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.
• Budgeting, forecasting and planning.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a qualified accountant with proven experience in a finance leadership position. You will need strong analytical and planning skills, as well as staff management experience. Financial system improvements and change management skills are also highly desirable.
