Finance Administrator | Preston | Temp - Perm | Up to 30k

Your new company
A reputable and fast-growing manufacturing business, based in Preston are looking to recruit a Finance Administrator to join their team, based from their head office. This organisation has a history of longevity and family feel, with a great morale. This position will be a temporary assignment of 3 months leading to a permanent position for the right candidate! The working pattern is Monday – Friday fully flexible hours with a 30-minute lunch break.

Your new role
In your new role as Finance Administrator, you will be working amongst the Accounts Team to support the business in raising invoices, processing expenses, and supporting with all other operational administrative duties. Recording and processing transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies. You will enter financial transactions into internal databases and maintaining accurate records. As well as this, you will be updating client information, telephone & email communication and supporting the team to efficiently resolve outstanding queries, whilst assisting with reports for Management, as and when required. Creating and updating expense reports and processing reimbursement forms. You will be expected to undertake any administrative tasks/projects as required to aid the function of the team. Payroll will be included within this role but you will not need experience with this as they will provide training!

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this, you should have strong administrative experience and have a knowledge of accounting functions, along with brief experience of working on financial systems. You should be a team player, able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines, along with being computer literate with a knowledge of Microsoft packages, including excel – familiarity with formulas / Lookups and Sage 50 are desirable. You will have a high attention to detail with a can-do, flexible, and enthusiastic attitude towards work.

What you'll get in return
In return for this, you will be offered a salary up to £32,000 depending on experience and will be working within a well-established team, in a modern working environment. Along with fully flexible working hours, you will start with 28 days holiday, which will increase with years of service to 33 days.
