HAYS are proud to be working in partnership with a local council to recruit an experienced Event Manager to lead the delivery of their Pride event in 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in celebrating diversity and inclusion across the community. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in public sector event management and a passion for delivering impactful, inclusive events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of the council’s Pride 2025 event.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including community groups, local businesses, and council departments.
  • Manage event logistics, budgets, risk assessments, and health & safety compliance.
  • Ensure the event reflects the values of inclusivity, accessibility, and community engagement.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior stakeholders.

About You:

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale public sector events.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • A track record of delivering inclusive and community-focused events.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Passionate about equality, diversity, and inclusion.
