English literature teacher Job in Cardiff.

I am recruiting for a large school in Cardiff which is looking for a teacher of English to join their department in September. The staff and leadership team have a clear vision with the purpose of creating a positive learning environment for all pupils. Your new role
Starting in September, you will work as part of the English department made up of a group of specialist teachers. You will be responsible for full teaching responsibilities for (including planning and preparation) for a full time English Timetable. You will be responsible for setting work and marking whilst carrying out any pastoral duties that may arise.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified teacher registered with the Education Workforce Council. You will have previous experience of teaching English in a secondary school. You must hold QTS – TEFL or ESOL teachers are not suitable unless also possessing PGCE in English.
You will have a passion for learning and have a strong track record of helping pupils to achieve results. You will also possess strong behaviour and classroom management skills. You share a commitment to safeguarding and hold a DBS check or are willing to get one.
