We are working with a dedicated Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Salford, committed to providing high-quality education and support to students who require alternative provision. Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join our team at a PRU in Salford. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a crucial role in supporting students' learning and development, helping them to overcome barriers to education and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons tailored to the needs of individual students.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage and motivate students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students' social and emotional development, promoting positive behaviour and attitudes.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students in a PRU setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
