Building Services - Electrical Design Engineer - Rolling Contract
Location: Newcastle
Hours: 8am–4pm (37.5 hours/week)
Rate: Circa £37/hour (negotiable)

This is a crucial position, and they need someone to start as soon as possible due to a high demand of projects. The role has the potential to be permanent.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic design consultancy as an Electrical Design Engineer, in which you can experience working on a range of projects – including commercial, education, energy, healthcare, industrial, leisure, retail, and residential.

What you’ll be doing:
- Produce detailed electrical design layouts, schematics, and specifications
- Collaborate with contractors, clients and architects to develop concepts into detailed designs
- Stakeholder engagement; attending client, pre-construction, and design meetings
- Issue designs to clients and construction teams
- Engage with a wide range of sectors and projects

What they're looking for:
- Software needed: AutoCAD and Revit
- An expert in Mechanical Design Engineering - Ideally having worked on projects by themselves
- Experience and confidence in stakeholder engagement
- Appreciation of sustainable building design
