EL/PL Supervisor to join global defendant firm on a hybrid or remote working basis
Your new company
Our client is a globally recognised defendant firm who are currently recruiting for an EL/PL Supervisor to join their Birmingham office on a hybrid or remote basis. Applicants near Brimingham are preferable and will be required in the office 3 days a week. Strong applicants from further afield
Your new role
This EL/PL Supervisor role will see you oversee a team of paralegals whilst maintaining your own reduced caseload. You will supervise fee earners who are responsible for a high-volume of defendant EL/PL cases. This will include technical supervision, absence management, performance reviews, monitoring team financial performance and allocating work. You will also handle your own caseload mixed value defendant EL/PL claims which can exceed £100,000.
What you'll need to succeed
You should be a qualified solicitor/chartered legal executive, but those qualified through experience will also be considered. Supervisory experience is not essential but is preferable, especially within a personal injury setting. You must have strong experience handling your own caseload, ideally in EL/PL. Those without supervisory experience must be able to demonstrate a desire to move into a supervisor position.
What you'll get in return
This is a great opportunity for Solicitors/Chartered Legal Executives looking to take a supervisory position. You can expect a competitive salary along with plenty of hybrid working with the potential for remote working for outstanding candidates not based in the Birmingham area.
