ECT Jobs - Part/full-time, Temporary and Permanent Positions
Your new company
We work with a number of schools on a partnership basis, so it's likely you won't find these roles advertised anywhere else. We have successfully placed hundreds of ECTs in schools across the region, so it's worth signing up and finding out about the roles we can offer you.
Your new role
As an ECT/NQT you will be working with a number of primary schools across various areas in the Wigan, Ormskirk or Chorley area. The jobs we offer will require you to have previous relevant experience, and you may be expected to follow lesson plans and deliver. We can offer you day-to-day positions and short-term contracts as well as long-term positions which can last more than a term and could lead to permanent employment.
If you do find yourself wanting to take on temporary supply work before finding a permanent position, this will expand your skills set by gaining experience in varying year groups and schools. This will help to build your network across the local authority and within many trust and partnership schools.
We cover all age ranges from EYFS through to KS2, so no matter where your strengths lie, we will have a job role for you.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, hold qualified teacher status (QTS) gained in the UK. You should be enthusiastic, approachable and be able to hit the ground running. Good knowledge of EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculum.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be paid a competitive daily rate while gaining invaluable working experience with the potential of being paid to scale on a long-term assignment. You will receive continued support from your experienced personal consultant who has forged strong relationships with local schools, along with free career development courses and free CV and interview advice.
