Your new company

Are you an ECT primary teacher who wants to network your skills in the Lancashire area?
At Hays, we have a variety of popular and well-respected schools already seeking out their new and enthusiastic ECTs for their full-time posts. We are looking for ECTs who are able to teach engaging and dynamic lessons across the curriculum in their specific subject. Required to start in September 2025.

Your new role

As an ECT/NQT you will be working with a number of primary schools across various areas in the Preston and Wider Lancashire areas. The jobs we offer will require you to have previous, relevant experience, and you may be expected to follow lesson plans and deliver. We can offer you day-to-day roles building your experience, short-term contracts as well as long-term positions which can last more than a term and could lead to permanent employment.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in securing this position, you must hold qualified teacher status (QTS) gained in the UK, or be on the way to earn it. You should be enthusiastic, approachable and be able to hit the ground running as well as possessing a good knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculum.
